  2. I dont think dick and perry are in love. i think they're just good friends that went to prison together. And i dont think herb is hiding her illness really cause at a few points it talks about how when people come over and they dont see Bonnie then they think shes at Withita which is the med facility. As a side note: i cant make a pic in my mind of perry ive tried but i cant really see a guy with a big muscular upper body and really tiny legs?

  3. I wondered the same thing about Dick and Perry. Capote's description of their relationship did make me wonder a little bit, however, he also described one Dick as still being in love with his first wife and Perry was always going on about the women he had encountered or wanted to encounter on his various journeys.

So far, I am most intrigued about motive...what was it? I'm into Part II of the book and still don't have any idea.

  5. Dick and Perry are most definately straight. Ya'll probably aren't to the part yet that makes it clear but there's one in there. There's also a motive (a stupid one). I've finished the book and it was pretty good.
